Heaters are commonly used household appliances in winter. To enter the European and American markets, products need to obtain CE certification. Introduction to CE Certification
CE certification is a pass to enter the EU market, indicating that the product meets the requirements of relevant EU directives and harmonized standards. For electrical products such as heaters, hand warmers, heated clothing, and electric blankets, it is necessary to meet requirements in areas such as EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and LVD (Low Voltage Directive).
EMC Certification (EN55014 Testing)

Radiated Interference: Assess the intensity of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the product into the surrounding space during operation.
Immunity Tests: Including electrostatic discharge immunity, radiated radio-frequency electromagnetic field immunity, fast transient burst immunity, etc., to check whether the product can operate normally when subjected to various electromagnetic interferences.
LVD Certification (EN60335 Testing)
The LVD Directive is a legal requirement in the European Union for electrical equipment designed for specific voltage limits, aimed at ensuring the safety of these devices during use. For heaters, the LVD Directive mainly focuses on the following aspects:
1. Voltage range: applicable to electrical products with AC voltage between 50V and 1000V and DC voltage between 75V and 1500V.
2. Safety rules: including protection against hazards caused by mechanical factors, as well as the electrical safety performance of the equipment under normal use and fault conditions.
3.
