Bluetooth Speaker Certification Requirements
发布日期:2026-08-26阅读量:132发布者:suma
1. Chinese Market
SRRC Certification (Mandatory)
Applicability: All speakers with built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other wireless modules must pass SRRC certification; uncertified products face the risk of being removed from the market.
Test Content: RF parameters (such as 2.4GHz band transmission power ≤ 20dBm), electromagnetic compatibility, etc.
Process: Technical confirmation → Testing and submission for approval → Material submission → Review and certification.
CCC Certification (Mandatory for Some Products)
Scope: Bluetooth speakers with a power voltage > 36V and wireless functionality require mandatory certification; others can voluntarily choose CQC or quality inspection reports.
Standards: GB 4943.1 (Safety of Information Technology Equipment), etc.
2. European Union Market
CE-RED Certification (Mandatory)
RoHS/REACH: Restricts hazardous chemical substances (such as lead, cadmium).
ERP Directive: Energy efficiency labeling (such as standby power consumption).
Core Directives: Verifies radio frequency performance (EN 300328), electromagnetic compatibility (EN 301489), and safety standards.
Requirement: When the product is labeled with the Bluetooth logo, it must pass Radio Frequency (RF) conformity, Protocol conformity, and Interoperability tests (Profile).
3. North American Market
FCC Certification (Mandatory)
Regular Products: FCC-SDoC (ordinary Bluetooth speakers).
With Wireless Function: FCC-ID Certification (requires testing of radiation power, frequency range).
UL Certification (Voluntary)
Standards: UL 60950-1 (electrical safety), UL 62133 (battery safety), etc., to enhance market recognition.
California Prop 65: Restricts carcinogenic/reproductive toxic chemical substances (such as phthalates).
4. Other Markets
South Korea KC Certification (Mandatory)
Process: Submit product information → Sample testing → Review and issue certificate; testing standards include KSX 3123 (RF performance).
Japan TELEC Certification (Mandatory)
Standard: MIC Notice No.88, covering RF and electromagnetic compatibility testing.
Canada IC-ID Certification (Mandatory)
Requirement: Comply with RSS-247 standard (2.4GHz frequency band parameters).
5. General Requirements
Battery and Transportation Certification
Battery Safety: Lithium batteries must pass UL 1642 and UN 38.3 tests.
Transportation Documents: Air/sea transport requires MSDS and UN38.3 reports.
Environmental and Labeling
EU WEEE: Products must be labeled with recycling symbols.
Bluetooth Label: Bluetooth logo can be used after BQB certification.
Certification Process Recommendations
R&D Stage: Confirm the target market and plan the certification priority in advance (such as SRRC, FCC, CE-RED).
Module Pre-Assessment: Using pre-certified Bluetooth modules can shorten the cycle (such as BQB module certification).
Platform Compliance: E-commerce sales require additional submission of test reports (such as UL documents required by Amazon).
Obtaining certifications in multiple countries can avoid market entry risks. It is recommended to choose a combination of mandatory and voluntary certifications based on the regulations of the target market.
