01 Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC):
Aims to ensure that electronic and electrical equipment does not generate electromagnetic interference (EMI) that disrupts other devices during normal operation, while also being able to withstand external electromagnetic interference. The EMC directive specifies the electromagnetic compatibility requirements for lighting products, including tests on radiation, conduction, and switched conduction. It also specifies protective measures for the product under abnormal conditions such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit. To meet the requirements of the LVD directive, lighting manufacturers need to fully consider safety issues during the product design stage and take corresponding measures to ensure the safety of the product under normal and abnormal conditions. In addition, the product must carry an LVD declaration of conformity to certify that it has passed the relevant tests and meets the requirements of the LVD directive.
03 Machinery Directive (MD):
Aims to ensure that machinery does not pose a danger to operators and the surrounding environment during normal operation. The MD Directive specifies the essential safety requirements that lighting products must meet when they are part of machinery. To comply with the MD Directive, lighting manufacturers need to fully consider mechanical safety issues during the product design phase and take appropriate measures to ensure product safety during normal and abnormal operation. 04 ATEX Directive:
