What tests and certifications are required for exporting solar lights?

Solar lights are electric lights powered by solar panels that convert solar energy into electrical energy. During the daytime, even on cloudy days, the solar generator (solar panel) can collect and store solar energy. As a safe and environmentally friendly new type of lighting, solar lights are receiving increasing attention.
Currently, FCC certification is a mandatory requirement for exports to the United States, so products exported to the U.S. must apply for FCC certification; otherwise, they may face returns and other negative consequences if inspected by customs or the market. To apply for FCC certification, samples and relevant product information must be provided to the certification body, which will issue the FCC certificate and report.
Lamps exported to the U.S. need to obtain FCC SDOC certification. FCC is the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. It is an independent U.S. government agency directly accountable to Congress. FCC mainly targets electronic and electrical products; products with wireless transmission functions require an FCC ID, while products without wireless transmission require FCC SDOC certification.
The certifications required for exporting lighting fixtures to countries around the world are roughly as follows:
EMC product certification services
European market: CE (EMC) certification, E/e-Mark certification, and other European country certification marks;
Asian market: CCC certification, KC certification, PSE certification, VCCI certification, etc.;
North American market: FCC certification, IC certification, etc.;
Australian market: C-tick certification.
Lighting fixtures exported to the United States need to go through FCC SDOC certification. FCC stands for Federal Communications Commission, an independent agency of the U.S. government directly responsible to Congress. The FCC mainly focuses on electronic and electrical products. FCC Certification Preparation Materials
1. The full name and detailed contact address of the manufacturer of the product applying for certification and the party applying for the certification.
2. A copy of the installation and user manual of the certified product provided to users. (If the product does not yet have a user manual, a draft copy of the relevant content can be provided.)
3. Electrical schematics of the product and an explanation of its working principles. (If the product has grounding or antennas, they should be described.)
4. A table of the product's operating oscillation frequencies, listing the signal propagation paths and corresponding oscillation frequencies.
5. Other product features that need to be explained.
Solar Light FCC Certification Application Process:
1. The customer submits an application form;
2. The customer signs an entrustment testing contract with our company;
3. Samples are sent for testing, and electrical schematics, external/internal photos, oscillator circuit diagrams, user manual nameplate labels, working principle descriptions, etc., are prepared (depending on the product);
4. After passing the test, a certificate and report are issued.
5. Once the company obtains FCC certification, the FCC mark can be used on the product.
