Pet Smart Feeder Export Certification
发布日期:2026-08-26阅读量:27发布者:suma
In overseas markets, smart technology is leading the upgrade and transformation of the pet supplies industry. Smart pet products, represented by smart feeders, smart dog collars, and smart litter boxes, are gradually gaining favor among consumers. These products integrate advanced technology to achieve intelligent operation for pet feeding and health management, greatly enhancing user convenience and efficiency.
In addition, the rise of cross-border e-commerce platforms provides strong support for pet supply companies to enter international markets. The export of pet supplies to different countries and regions requires different export certifications.
The export certification and testing standards for smart pet feeders need to be distinguished according to the target market, as follows:
1. European Union Market
CE Certification
EMC: According to EN55014-1/EN55014-2 standards, ensure the equipment's electromagnetic interference and immunity meet requirements.
LVD: Refer to EN60335 standard to verify electrical safety performance, such as insulation resistance, dielectric withstand test, etc.
RED Directive: If it contains wireless communication functions (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), it must comply with radio spectrum regulations.
Core Requirements: Must meet Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Low Voltage Directive (LVD), and Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
Environmental Requirements: RoHS certification limits the content of 10 hazardous substances including lead, cadmium, mercury (limit ≤0.1%).
Additional Certification
REACH Certification: If the product involves chemicals (such as plastic components), high-risk substances on the SVHC list need to be tested.
2. U.S. Market
California 65 Certification
Total Lead/Cadmium: Lead content in accessible parts ≤ 100 ppm, cadmium content ≤ 100 ppm (stricter limits apply in special scenarios).
Phthalates: In materials such as PVC, the limit for phthalates like DBP and BBP is usually ≤ 600-1000 ppm.
Testing Items:
Labeling Requirements: If harmful substances exceed limits, warning labels must be affixed to the product.
FCC Certification
Mandatory testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) to ensure that devices do not interfere with radio communication, referring to FCC Part 15 standards.
UL Certification (Non-Mandatory)
For electrical safety, products must comply with UL 60730 standards, applicable to high-risk products such as feeders with heating functions.
3. Other Markets
Japan: Requires PSE certification, covering electrical safety and EMC testing.
Russia/Kazakhstan: Require GOST R and GOST K certification respectively, focusing on safety and environmental protection.
